Any building project has the potential to become a stress-filled nightmare.
The Internet and other media abound with horror stories: shoddy workmanship, uncompleted projects, major cost overruns and outright fraud.
So when it came time for my wife Robin and I to choose someone for an addition/remodel on our home, we realized our biggest concern was that we find a builder not only skilled with a hammer and saw, but one we could trust.
